SHALL WE BE LIVING COWARDS?

We could and can still do it together
For we are bigger than our problems
Soar heights than birds without quill feathers
And if we die we become legends

Though for now times go harder
Poor couples can't afford a break-up
Times like these are tonics to become wiser
And like a toad's leap we must take off

Yes! Times Have gone bad from good to worse
Few on top have through our consent lay claims to our wealth
And what have we done?
Done? Rather we've undone ourselves

Mum we've stayed for long
Decay have the results been
Though I alone can sing the song
Together we create the music

The lyrics we must dictate
Towards our collective well being
But if we choose to wear silence fabrics all day
History will see us as cowardice's debris

I QUIT!

At some point I figured out that I shouldn’t care too much as to owe you any explanation for quitting and what I’m quitting but then I’ve come to the acceptance that there’s a lot to learn from anybody’s story no matter how insane it may seem or sound. This is not me saying, it’s me doing. I quit! Yeah. It’s no joke buddy. It’s been a long time coming. Trust me. To My Employer; I’ve held the notion that you are always on my neck. You see to it that I must resume work early and close late, that I must not get emotional/personal when I perceive that my rights are being transgressed by clients/customers just so I don’t turn them away to competitors. That everything must be in perfectly working condition as well as meeting or beating deadlines set by all means. The thought of doing all these ‘for you’ stresses me and most times bring thoughts of exiting from your organization. THAT PILE OF SHIT IS YOUR BEST SHOT

We've all got tales to tell. You know, it's a gift to be able to tell tales because #DeadMenTellNoTales. However, these tales are in the past and not to be resided in but referenced. Someone once said, 'you'll never amount to no good' (but then, God is the Best and He is my Creator). Another told me, 'you can't even rhyme well and you want to do music?' (I did a couple of songs and when I stopped, same person begged to sponsor my music if I agreed to do more). Then again I started working out and another told me to stop wasting time,  'guy you go just grow veins full body. You never eat well you wan dey carry iron abi?' It's been a journey. A journey of about three decades with so much gains And even so, much shed. So many dark dirty corners Litter the bends, curves and turns Yet, I drew and still draws breath. Strengthened by a weakness The weakness of a fear that has made me strong. What's this fear? Hunger! Sounds too simple right? Yeah, you think so or maybe not_ but You see, these simple or difficult things are the extreme opposite for others. However, This is not to entertain you. Far from it.
