O ye Socialites

Now am beginning to feel irritated by those who for no just course have decided to not use their real names (or names I can relate with)  here on fb.
Do you know how much work mum and dad had to put into having you?
Do you know how happy they were to have decided to bless you with names like Rukevwe, Oshione, Chigozie, Gorokwe, Onokpemuemuemu, Oluwatosin, Ibukun, Enaholo, Njokwu, Aisha, Elizabeth and the likes of other names you are now too shy to identify with?
No!  You have no idea at all.
Rather, You have become so enmeshed in your daily romance with the new media that though you can't speak like the Britons and Americans (no matter how hard you try) because your Udaba accent has a way of screaming 'I'm from Ekperi' you've decided to take on their names plus other numerous nonsense and relegate your identity to trash.
When will you learn to copy sense from these people you've chosen to identify with?
Never!
You'd rather copy trash like how best to make a hoe cum and perfect the most obscene canal skills than porn stars will ever know.
You'd rather choose to be called Mhzz Porch, Dope Gee, O.G Billionz and so on.
You'd rather settle and be comfortable with saggy pants, torn/tattared jeans, nudity and the flamboyant use of vulgarity and other absurdities that you've downloaded from sites that are better censored and or at best, banned!
You've grown so used to a foreign culture of a land you may never go to at the detriment of the moral etiquette of your home.
You no longer see anything wrong if Jamal is gay__ who cares, isn't he just cute not to mention his voice. Gosh! Jamal's voice sha!
As long as you are concerned everyone can just be what they wanna be whether or not they are in line with the norms Africans should be known for.
It's a free world naw!
We've strayed so much so that even the sane ones are afraid to correct us. Those who dare to point us towards the right path are physically, psychologically and even spiritually traumatized at our reactions.
No. Their ancestors are not pardoned in this fracas. We make sure to lip-lynch their dead relatives and aged parents who should know better to advise them to not cross our path with holier-than-thou admonitions.
Wait seff, how can I even trust one who isn't honest enough to just bear his/her love-borne name? Why should I even be friends with you on any platform whatsoever?
Why?
If you cannot take care of a gift entrusted to you from your parents, who are you really? What can you take care of?
Ehem, e don do me for here before I start acting all emotional like a whining broken hearted mother whose only son has decided to not do anything enviable with his life.
Aha!
Just so you'd know (if you like call me oversabi) I'm going to wipe out fake unAfrican names from my list (except for the foreigners I have). If you are guilty as charged, dump me now before I dump you!
#iamjekadz with a resolve not to accommodate trash!
